Peculiarities of immunological status in acute period of traumatic brain injury

Mamytova E.M.

Kyrgyzstan State Medical Academy, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan

The author describes the results of a clinical study, the aim of which was to investigate the influence of moderate traumatic brain injury on the state of the cytokine profile and cellular immunity in the early posttraumatic period. In patients with moderate traumatic brain injury in the acute phase serum showed a significant increase in the concentration of IL-6, g-IFN, a minor - IL-1, IL-4 and TNF-a. Moderate traumatic brain injury leads to suppression of T -cell immunity , which manifests in a decrease in blood levels of T-helper ( CD-4+) and total T-lymphocytes (CD-3+) , as well as the activation of the B-cell level and natural-killer lymphocyte subpopulations.

Keywords
