The dynamics of cellular immunity parameters were investigated in patients with penetrating eye injury. In uncomplicated course of post-traumatic period, the reduction in the functional activity of neutrophils and decrease of total lymphocytes number including their CD3+, CD4+ and CD8+ subpopulations were found. In patients with infectious complications, the amount of CD4+ cells decreased to a greater extent. Furthermore, there were differences in the dynamics of CD22+ cell number depending on the character of post-traumatic period.
