Immunological parameters in syphilis patients with obvious clinical manifestations

The current article analyzes the results of immunological investigations of syphilis patients with obvious clinical symptoms. Dominating changes were insufficiency of cellular immunity, activation of humeral immunity and activation of factors of non-specific resistance. It is suggested that immunological mechanisms take part in pathogenesis of syphilitic alopecia and leukoderma. Illustrations are provided.
