Immunological aspects of pathogenesis of acute bacterial rhinosinusitis: identifying criteria of chronicity of the process

Objective: to determine immunological criteria chronicity of acute bacterial rhinosinusitis (ABRS).
Methods: clinical examination, endoscopic examination of ENT organs, bacteriological testing, targeting innate and adaptive immunity.
Results: the Recovery was accompanied by an adequate response of neutrophils to treat the infection. The lack of adequate phagocytic reaction led to the chronicity of the disease. In patients with chronic OBRS statistically significant reduction in the level of IL-18 and IgA in serum.
