Role of proteins of the saliva for the mucosal immunity

The saliva contains the numerous squirrels participating in the congenital and acquired immunity. Their effects inflammatory and immune reactions. One of them, such as lizotsyme, lactoferrin, cationic proteins, peroxidases, tsistatina, mutsina and others are important for congenital immunity. As the main producers of the acquired immunity immunoglobulins serve. In total they possess antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties. At a saliva there are immunoglobulins of all classes, especially at immunoinflammatory reactions.
