The mRNA rate of FOXP3 gene and cytokine levels (TNFα, IL6, IL10) in patients with rheumatoid arthritis diagnosed for the first time and after treatment with methotrexate were studied. The absence of significant differences in the level of FOXP3 expression in peripheral blood leukocytes of patients with rheumatoid arthritis compared to the control group (p>0.05) was shown. We found the significant differences in the cytokine serum levels between the control group and patients with the onset of the disease, and with rheumatoid arthritis under methotrexate therapy.
