Pecularities of eczema herpeticum associated with atopic dermatitis

The article provides brief historical information, presents detailed information on etiology and pathogenesis, her clinical manifestation and management of patients with this disease. Eczema herpeticum is a manifestation of disseminated herpes virus infection, exclusively develops on the background of chronic dermatoses, among which atopic dermatitis plays a leading role. In the pathogenesis of eczema herpeticum associated with atopic dermatitis, combination the skin barrier damage and immune pathology plays an important role, which are the main predictors of severe herpes virus infections in these patients.
