Effect of synthetic hexapeptide p137-142Fc-RI on mast cells of mice on experimental allergic asthma

A synthetic analogue of the active site of a human high-affinity IgE receptor, peptide p137142Fc-RI added in vitro to mast cells enhanced the allergen-induced degranulation of mast cells, and injected into the body sensitized animals significantly reduced skin sensitization to allergens and degranulation of mast cells induced by exposure to cause significant allergen reduced allergic inflammation of the bronchi and lungs.
