Lipid transport system, morbidity due to acute respiratory diseases and anti-viral
immunity

LTS influence on morbidity due to acute respiratory diseases and anti-viral immunity in patients with different cholesterol level was investigated. It was revealed that morbidity of patients with increased serum cholesterol level was diminished.
There were correlation between serum cholesterol raise and several antibodies levels. These findings may illustrate an immunomodulatory cholesterol action.
