The combination of scabies and fungal infections of the skin

The features of scabies and superficial fungal infections of the skin were identified during a study of 398 patients in 4 psychiatric hospitals in Moscow region. Morbidity rate of these dermatoses were 141‰ and 168,4‰ respectively. Clinical manifestations of both diseases masked with toxidermia by the psychotropic drugs. The features of modes of transmission of scabies were identified among this group of patients. In scabies were shown the diagnostic value of dermoscopy and high efficiency of treatment with “Medifoks”.
