Concentrations of myelin basic protein and neuron"specific enolase at liver diseases

Study concentration of the Myelin Basic Protein (MBP) and Neuron"Specific Enolase (NSE) in serum from 77 patients with cirrhosis of the liver, 88 patients with chronic hepatitis, 17 patients with acute alcoholic hepatitis and 15 patients with primary liver cancer. The greatest growth of MBP and NSE was noted in pacients with symptoms of expressed hepatocellular deficiency.
