Metabolic activity of lymphocytes in administration of biological active substances and xenobiotics

Sheibak V.M., Pavlyukovets A.Y.

Determination of the cell ability to absorb glucose with their incubation in vitro and assessment of the level of glycogenic amino acids in the cells were conducted. A new integrated method for estimating metabolic activity of immune cells is proposed. It has found out that the amino acid composition "tritarg", when injected into animals contributes to the metabolic activation of spleen and thymus lymphocytes. The analysis of metabolic activity of the thymus and spleen cells while poisoning lead and administered the mixture of amino acids or antioxidant oregonin was carried out.
