Pruritus is a common and debilitating symptom of Hodgkin lymphoma (HL), significantly reducing the quality of life of patients. This paper examines the role of this condition as an early and sometimes solitary symptom of the disease, its prognostic value, and current understanding of the mechanisms of its development. The importance of an interdisciplinary approach to early diagnostics of HL is emphasized, taking into account this symptom as one of the possible clinical manifestations. The limitations of specific treatment methods and the need for further research to improve the quality of life of patients are emphasized. Two clinical cases illustrating the features of paraneoplastic pruritus in HL are presented.
