Immunohistochemical and morphometric analysis of the quantity of Toll-like receptors 2 and 4, Langerhans cells and T-lymphocyte subpopulations in psoriatic skin

Katunina O.R., Rezaykina A.V.

Increased expression of Toll-like receptors TLR2 and TLR4 and the content of Langerhans cells in the skin of patients with psoriasis were detected by immunomorphological method. These findings significantly expand the understanding of the pathogenesis of psoriasis and define a new vector research aimed at finding the etiological factors and optimization of existing methods for the systemic treatment of psoriasis.
