Objectives. The aim of investigation was to define clinical features of influenza – associated pneumonia.
Materials and methods. 119 cases of influenza - associated pneumonia were analyzed. We have examined clinical characteristics of the disease, laboratory data??, types of concomitant bacterial infection, hemodynamic parame-ters, monitored respiratory function.
Results. Key specifications of influenza – associated pneumonia were determined in various categories of patients.
Conclusion. In influenza - associated pneumonias we have discovered significant violations of hemodyna-mics, microcirculation, renal function and blood coagulation system. We have also established, that bacteria strain play no significant role in clinical features of influenza – associated pneumonias. |
