Correction of immune and metabolic disorders in chronic prostatitis

Increased levels of pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines, key complement components, products of lipid peroxidation, compounds with immunosuppressive activities and stable nitric oxide metabolites were observed at the systemic and local levels in the acute stage of chronic prostatitis. Traditional treatment did not arrest these changes. Additional use of drug combinations Ferrovir+Mexidol+Phosphogliv and Galavit+Oliphen+Essentiale corrects the above immune and metabolic disorders.
